Stephen Leake,
Principal of SWL Consultants, has worked in shipyards and dockyards, design and drafting offices, consulting firms and with the federal government.

His experience includes drafting, design, construction and construction supervision, management from project to senior executive levels, research & development, expert testimony, marketing and marine surveying.

Stephen has worked on a variety of vessel designs including icebreakers, navaids tenders, search and rescue, bulk carriers, container, cruise, ferries, tugs, fishing vessels, submarines and semi-submersible platforms.

From 1994 to date Stephen has continued as an independent consulting naval architect and marine surveyor for both recreational and commercial vessels operating as SWL Consultants registered in Ontario.

Stephen is a Retired member of SAMS – Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors.
